I am having my second baby and looking at double strollers. My son will be almost 2 when this baby is born. We plan on using his Eddie Bauer infant car seat that we got as part of a travel system for this baby. Do any of you know if it will adapt to fit any of the double strollers out there? I cannot find anywhere that lists its compatibility with other strollers. Thanks!
Re: Compatible double stroller for Eddie Bauer infant car seat?
As far as I know, they only work with the Eddie Bauer line of strollers. They don't make adaptors for this car seat for any of the major brands. The Eddie Bauer line only has one double. It's made by Dorel, but the Safety 1st line, the Lux line and the Cosco doesn't have a double. Their Quinny strollers only work with Maxi Cosi, but again no doubles.
Other than that, if yours is the Eddie Bauer Adventurer infant seat, it might work with the Baby Jogger universal adaptor, maybe with a City Mini double?
Another option is the Quinny (using the onBoard/Cosi 35 adaptor) with a rider board. In all honesty with 2 in the early days I didn't get out a lot, but I did baby wear & I got a double stroller that was newborn compatible without the car seat.
