I'm 12 weeks and ready to start reading about natural childbirth. I'm starting a Bradley course at the end of next month. I've seen several suggestions for reading on the topic. Which book would you recommend starting with?
If you're doing Bradley Method, I'd also pick up "Husband-Coached Childbirth" and "Natural Childbirth the Bradley Method Way." The first book is geared more toward your coach/husband. It *is* a bit dated, but it's really informative and gives you the background information on why the Bradley Method came to be (Plus there's an entire chapter dedicated to 'how to live with your pregnant wife and making her life awesome'). The second book offers all the exercises you'll need -- mental and physical -- for the Bradley Method.
Thank you all for suggesting the Ina May book, I just now ordered it
