This check-in is not necessarily exercise-related. I know a lot of us are trying to eat healthier and give up bad habits thanks to the motivation of pregnancy/new baby, so any kind of getting heathy is welcome here!

Re: ~*~ Tuesday's Getting Healthy Check-In ~*~
This week: bad day yesterday (big meeting and lots of free bad for me food, long day so no working out) but already worked out this morning with the boys for 45 minutes so I'm feeling good! Hope to stick with lots of water and 5 servings of fruits and veggies diet wise. I always have so much more energy if I can stick with that!
Goal: in good strong shape by may to start marathon training. Need at least a 9 min mile base for 6 miles in my mind!
Drink: bad for me: love frozen margaritas and dark beer. Wine doesn't count as bad ever in my world because I'm Italian! I don't waste my calories on non alcoholic drinks, I'm a seltzer water as fun kinda girl.
This week- already got a run in Sunday, but now my sweet family has given me the cold from hell so I'm just gonna do what I can.
Goal- 10 lbs by mid-May. And, I'd still like to try for the half at the end of next month even if I am walking a chunk of it.
Qotw- I am a sucker for shamrock shakes. And the calorie bomb coffee drinks.
Last week: played a soccer game. (co-ed league started back up) and ate lots of food!
Plans for this week: I want to cut back on soda, I used to do one day a week. Need to go for a run Wednesday or Thursday. I have a wedding on Saturday, and soccer game Sunday. And I bought salad and healthy stuff to help DH and I eat better.
Goal: I would like to be able to run a 5k without walking by summer.
Drink: Pina Colada is my go to to let my body know we are on vacation.

This week, eat the same for meals but lose the dessert most nights. (I'm all for an occasional splurge but my every day!)
Goal is stay healthy and keep getting stronger!
Drink: frozen daiquiri or on the rocks margarita. Mmmmm
