Blue dawn (because that's my regular dish soap). I bought the special dye free baby dish soap when DS1 was tiny and I was a baby newb; made no difference at all.
I hear that not only are the May 14 ladies excellent google substitutes, they also make pretty good conversation from time to time. You know, if you're into that sort of thing.

Dishwasher. Boom. I boiled them after for a couple of months because I thought the dishwasher left a residue but we've switched to Finish tabs and that seems to work great with our dishwasher.
On a side note, I like having conversations with myself because I find me pretty entertaining. Though, I'm not nearly as entertaining as some of the ladies that frequently converse on this board. Funny stuff there.
ETA: Not just funny, also informative and helpful!
Dawn works best for the greasy residue breast milk leaves behind, but I eventually switched to a fragrance-free dish soap because I got tired of all our bottles smelling soapy.

Are they not sterilized once you put them in a pan of boiling water?
BM will leave a greasy looking film on the inside of bottles, you will want to do something more to clean them. Not just sterilize.
I do hot soak in blue dawn & water, scrub with bottle brush and stick in sanitizer. Faster and easier for me than the dishwasher. You & the OP find your bottle washing stride.

The Finish tabs are awesome! I find that tabs and pods in general give us much better results than the usual powder or liquid detergent does. And that's all I got because I have zero bottle cleaning experience. Just really love those tabs.
I was given bottle washing dish soap. I had honestly never given it much of a thought. With DS (age 12) I just used the dishwasher and called it a day.
Not sure if I will actually use the bottle soap. Guess we will see how everything is going.
Regular dish soap. I did switch to a free and clear laundry detergent for the first few months for LO. Then I missed the smell of Tide and we switched back.
