Whyyyyy is DH's family obsessed with when I am cutting DS' hair?? Maybe we're going for the Mowgli look. Maybe I don't feel like taking a one year old who doesn't sit for a minute to a hair salon where he will likely have a stage 5 meltdown. Yup, it's in his eyes. Yup, it's getting long. But you had your kids. You groomed them as you please. It's hair. And I realize he's a boy. Not new information to me. But let it gooooooooooo.

Mind you, this is the same group of people that just offered me a box of sixteen year old baby clothes that DH's nephew wore. I have zero against hand me downs. We've taken them from other people. But for God's sake. It's 2014. He's not rolling into DC with this on:

I took a picture if ds eating a birthday brownie in his high chair and the shadows made it look like his hair was down pay his shoulders. My FIL said I needed to take him in for a hair cut or he might think he was a girl.

Not on the haircut part but on the clothes comments. I run a daycare and one of the kids came in clothes like that all the time! I don't think they ever put him in current clothes. Of course his mom also dressed like she was in the 80's...

See I'm getting the opposite. We're getting yelled at because we cut his hair. Granted we did it ourselves in the bath tub and his bangs are a little to short
