  Selah definitely gets mixed opinions whenever I ask anyone! Thanks Helenahhandbasket- glad you like it!!! I adore it, but I'm a little uneasy about the pronunciation problems that could arise!

  Selah is my cousin's daughter's name and I love it. Annabelle and Lauren are also nice.

  I love Annabelle.  Scarlett is beautiful, but is petty popular around where I live.  I hear comments all the time from friends who thought they were choosing a unique name, only to find out that their kid shares his/her name with 4 others in their class.

  Wow, thanks everyone for all the GREAT feedback!!! Yes, Keziah is a totally legit name, and I happen to love it, but my hubby does not! Actually, I showed him this discussion and he agrees with almost all of you! Annabelle is his #1, he hates Keziah and Paisley, he doesn't think he could ever love Selah as much as I do, and the others are just "meh"! Glad to see some Selah-love!

  The way I've heard it pronounced as a name is Say-luh (which i love!) I had always read it as See-luh when reading the Psalms though! How did you expect to pronounce it?

  I have heard people pronouncing it see- luh, say- luh even sell-uh. I had hoped to pronounce it as Sell-A...so I think were completely switching over to Soleil french for sun pronounced so-lay.
