So I have to leave my baby girl a couple of times a week to go to school. It is only for a couple of hours at a time and usually her feeding schedule has worked around those times. I've given my mom a bottle and some frozen breast milk in case E gets hungry while I'm gone.
The problem is that she won't take the bottle. I had issues with this when the doctor wanted us to supplement with formula for a few days too. It was a real struggle to even get an ounce in her. She also hates pacifiers even though she loves to comfort suck. I've tried different nipples and types and the bottle we are currently using is avent natural so it is supposed to be somewhat similar to the breast.
Has anyone dealt with this before? How did you end up getting LO to take the bottle? I am afraid to leave her because I don't want her upset and hungry.
Re: Baby won't take a bottle
I don't want to have to go and buy a million types of bottles - everything we've tried so far she hasn't liked. If I never had to leave her I wouldn't care.
Good luck!!!
