Hi Ladies,
DD's 2nd birthday is coming up and I wanted to get her a wooden train set. There's a Kidkraft train set on sale on Zulily today.

I like that this set has other vehicles included in it (she LOVES cars, helicopters, and planes)
I'm wondering if anyone has this set. Do you like it? Can you add other pieces to it from other brands? I want to get something that will last and that she will enjoy for years. I would like to be able to get a set that is compatible with other tracks and trains.
Thanks Ladies!
Re: NWMR - wooden train set - does it matter what brand?
My only concern about that set is that the majority of it is elevated. We have had trouble with some of our Thomas elevated sections staying together while DS plays with it and have had to tape some of the tracks together.
I'd go on Amazon and see what the reviews are.
