Delivering at MGH experience?

Is anyone delivering or has anyone delivered at MGH? Looking to hear about your experience!

    I delivered 2 of my babies at MGH, both with the midwives. I feel like I got excellent care. I have zero complaints.

    I'll be delivering at MGH (due May 29th) and have heard nothing but great things about the experience from close friends and family. My cousin's water broke at 24 weeks and she delivered at 30 weeks.  The care both she and baby received at MGH was unbelievable and solidified my decision to deliver there.  Plus I work at the hospital which makes it super convenient.

    I'm planning to have my baby at MGH this spring and was wondering if the recovery rooms are shared. I have heard conflicting information about this. Does anybody know?

    I delivered at MGH and had an excellent experience. The nurses were incredible! I had a private recovery room but I do believe some of the rooms are big enough to be shared if they need to be. When I delivered they were not at full capacity.

    Hi.  I delivered at MGH in November.  My experience was great.  All the nurses and physicians are caring, reassuring, skilled, and all around wonderful.  There is one pediatrician on staff who is especially magical.  Our recovery room was private and had a little sleeper couch for my husband.  My parents said the waiting room is cold and not super cozy.  Keep that in mind if you have folks waiting on the birth.  Our son is now almost 3 months old and we're doing great.

    All delivery rooms are private at MGH.  A few of the postpartum rooms are shared, but they only double them up if there is extremely high capacity. The nurses told me it happens every couple of months. Most postpartum rooms are private. 

    I had an excellent experience with my delivery at MGH in June.  They were very supportive of natural childbirth while obviously also ready with alternate solutions and medical interventions if needed. I requested a room with a bathtub and used that during labor, which was really appreciated.  Their default policies are very pro-breastfeeding, which I appreciated. An hour of skin-to-skin after birth, rooming in (unless you request otherwise), lactation support, etc.

    Both times I delivered there we had private recovery rooms. Also, there were two beds in the room, so DH got his own bed.

    I delivered there last august, no complaints. I adore all the midwives.
