For the second time, DD had to be picked up from DC early because her milk was gone by 2:30. On Friday, she came home with 2 oz we had to throw out (1oz left in 2 different bottles). DH asked if they just feed her every 2hrs or wait for hunger cues. They said she was crying so they fed her. Her chart showed 1 45-minute nap. I have a hunch she was crying bc she was tired. When DH questioned the amount they were giving her (2 3-oz bottles in one feeding) they said "as child care providers, we have to look out for the best interest of the child" (bc, you know, we mothers don't, obviously). Anyway, how do you nicely tell a DC provider not to give your BF baby 6 oz at once and to not assume each peep means she's hungry? Or do I just kill myself pumping until we can introduce solids?
