I'm watching last night's episode and it seems like most of the guys are getting more and more controlling. I got really mad when Alan showed up at the photo shoot. She's working and doesn't pick up your call so you bust in to see what's going on? Seriously?
Also, what's with Mike's mom saying the fiancee will poison them all? What a piece of work!
What do you think?
Re: 90 Day Fiancee
Guilty of watching as well.
I really lliked Alan at first, but each week I like him less and less. Kirlyam doe sgenuinely appear to love him though. I can't stand Paoloa, and Aziza has always felt to me like she is just here for the Visa.
for their own wedding dresses, work & know what a budget's for.
I guess I can't totally blame the men, though. Except for Russ, they don't look like they can even attract American brides, much less dates. ( ok, louis is diivorced, but look who HE had gotten ;P )
ETA: I looked it up and they apparently can only work if they apply for a work permit after they get to the U.S. and it can take up to 90 days to get it. So, they probably were not able to work.
Here's the other thing that kind of gets me all boiled over.
We have good friends, LO's Godparents actually, who are married. She is from France and came here on an educational Visa, met her now husband and got married 2 weeks before her Visa would have made her go back to France. Apparenty the 'courts' thought it was suspicious due to the timing of everything and DH and I had to go talk to a Judge to attest to the fact that they were indeed a 'real couple' and we had seen them share intimate moments, discuss finances, share a home, have photos of them together ect. They filled out tons of paperwork and besides talking to a Judge DH and I had to write a letter explaining how genuinely a couple they were.
I don't honestly feel that anyone could speak for Aziza in this manner, and I am begining to feel the same about Aya.
FWIW My friends have been married for 8 years and are very happy together.
Kinda pathetic, isn't it, that Louis can't pony up $300 for a wedding dress? How will they survive since Aya can't work yet and he has 2 sons to help support. ( I have no idea if his ex gets alimony )
I also understand the women can't work for the time being, but that shouldn't give them the right to get a totally free ride off these men. They can bring their native currency and exchange it for American dollars at the airport.
