    I remember feeling so stressed out because DS couldn't latch the first day he was born. I was so distraught and scared. My nipple where flat and they started to crack and I was so upset. We had one good feeding but the others where just awful at the hospital. Then the LC gave me a nipple shield to help with his latch and I think by day 2 my milk finally came in. It was stressful first couple days and even weeks (was in pain), but once we jumped that 3 week hurtle it was amazing and it didn't hurt anymore and so simple and easy. But it wasn't a walk in the park or... came naturally (my thought) at all.. Both of you have to learn...

    The instructor went over this in my birth class as well, but this was a great reminder for me.  And the visuals really helped.  It's hard to imagine the stomach being so tiny when you don't have a representation to think of.  Thanks for posting!
