Pretty ticked off

On Friday, DS came home with another kid's snow pants (that look just like his but with a different name on them). He had a story about how his teacher said he could borrow those for the weekend. I was confused, but I figured maybe the other kid put on his by mistake and they'd switch back on Monday.

Went in today to volunteer and found out DS's snow pants were taken/stolen and can't be found. The pair he came home with on Friday were another kid's spare pair. The teachers don't go out with the kids during lunch recess, so DS's teacher thinks someone else must have grabbed DS's...but they haven't been returned! Teacher checked the other kids in class and asked the other kindy teachers, but the snow pants are just gone. No luck with the lost and found, either.

I am mad. Even if a kid grabbed the wrong stuff, how does he/she have it at home all weekend and a parent doesn't realize that's not their kid's stuff?!? Grrrrrrr!!!

  • Loading the player...
  • There are a whole host of reasons why somebody wouldn't know the pants weren't there...they'll probably be returned as soon as somebody does the laundry.
  • If this was my kid they would still be in a back pack. This is just one of those things that happens when your kid goes to preschool.
  • This reminds me I have someone's changing pad from the Y. I didn't notice until way later since it was stuck in our spare diaper bag. I haven't been back yet.
