Speed Triple Sexiness

seeing as my commute is 100 miles one way (only a few times a week, luckily) one of the few pleasures of which I get to partake is my mode of transportation. The engine on my BMW is at about 90,000 miles and might be done (parts come in this week that will determine whether or not we can fix it....) so Im full time riding the Triumph Speed Triple.

For those of you unfamiliar with Triumph's latest offering in the motorcycle world, they have a full line of three cylinder engines thats are very smooth, very powerful and sound INCREDIBLE.

anyways, on my two hour ride this morning because of this bike I found some actual joy in it. Im pretty lucky that my commute takes me through some pretty spectacular views.

It's one of the few things in my life that keeps me sane and focused...... and thank god for that

Oh ok..... go have lots of amazing sex. Enjoy it - but you'll have to tell me about it so I can live vicariously through you.

Dont think you can get a speeding ticket during sex. Wife might get pissed off I suppose....but at least it wont affect your driving record

Ha yea I'm quite envious of the commute there. My commute is 8 miles and can often take 30+ minutes...

when I used to live in LA proper, my 3 mile commute would pretty regularly take more than 20 minutes, even on the bike. A few times it took me most of an hour.
I used to walk it a fair amount just because it would be faster!

Lucky this is what my backyard looks like today, last week it hit 50. triumph triples are awesome i looked at that one or superduke but got a deal on my r6 i couldn't pass up

The R6 is a pretty amazing bike. But do yourself a favor and ride an S3 sooner than later.... you might just sell that R6..... just sayin

yeah..... true. Where are you?
Even here in LA the closest Triumph dealer is ~45 mins away. But there are two or three at that distace.

thats not me but I did a track day on mine last year and had such a blast. the bike is so much fun and corners pretty dammed well. I had fun passing shitty riders on BMW 1000's

Id love to have one as a fourth bike. My neighbor has one that he's had parked for like 3 years that needs the belts changed and I keep telling him to sell it to me for $500. Just waiting for him to say yes

that exact same thing happened to a buddy on mine, with the same bike. He had to replace the tires, brakes and a few lines but flipped it for like 5G

but insurance is so cheap i don't really want to pay double for a less sporty bike with a bigger engine (still trying to figure that one out)

I pay $300 a year for 5 bikes - liability only of course. Honestly if you have a bike worth less than $6 grand what's the point in having excessive insurance?
