Re: Feeling overwhelmed

  • I know how you feel when I got my re's "plan" I was thinking I can't do all this! But I thought ok one day at a time. I was already doing the coq10 too and other things. Just keep saying one day at a time for a bun in the oven! :) you got this!

Agree with pps that a solid plan is a good thing (even if it looks overwhelming on paper), and that you're more than up to it (especially since you're already doing/arranging to do all of it anyway.)

Also, I live to be helpful, so: Poor Poodle.  [virtual hair pat here.] :)

One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

  • I'm a big believer in acupuncture, chinese herbs, royal jelly, maca, ubquinol, yoga for fertility, EPO, for increasing the odds of natural pregnancy. All of these things help you feel better, and anything that makes us feel empowered and like we, personally, are doing something to bring about a new life, is a good thing. Best of luck to you as you start the process with the RE!

  • Poor Poodle (head pat) It will be ok. Seeing everything at once can be very overwhelming, but then you do one day, then the next and then the next and suddenly you realize it wasn't so bad. Like when I was in grad school I would melt down the beginning of every semester when I looked at the syllabus and suddenly the semester would be over.

I think all the steps you are taking are great, I really believe in acupuncture, without i would not have the range of motion in my arms to function, and I would not have been able to become a massage therapist, which I absolutely love doing!

So ((hugs)) you can do this

    Well said!
But it is a slower process and so hard to be patient with it at our age :(
    Hang in there JBC!

He settles her in her home as a happy mother of children, praise the Lord! (Psalms 113:9)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understand, will guard your heart and mind in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:7)

  • I agree with Sally: One thing at a time. I get overwhelmed very easily (with anxiety, to boot). And so I do one thing at a time and start off that way.

Hugs... It will get easier. xo

  • I just wanted to send hugs. It has to be hard to face this sometimes when it starts to feel like a chore or a mountain that must be conquered. Though it sounds like you are getting  the right help!
