Something fun to share?

The highlight of my weekend was getting Indian food with my pregnant pal. We have a standing lunch date each Saturday afternoon - no kids or husbands. Just us and good food! Next week I'm thinking Thai.

Other than that, just getting our stuff moved around to get DD's new room ready. Pretty tame around these parts.

I wish! My emotions have taken over and are running the show. I did have a nice morning going shopping and to the farmers market with my best friend yesterday. As nice as that was I think it made it harder to come home to a weekend of home stress! Your days sound fun. Yay for standing lunch dates and the zoo!

We went to the beach on Saturday (it's summer here), it wasn't boiling because of the clouds and dd had a great time playing with her beach toys and collecting shells - such a nice day!

I went shopping with my mom for baby stuff, and for maternity stuff for me. It was heavenly! We got great deals, and I only spent $20 all day. We won't discuss how much my mom spent.

We had our parents over for a bbq(the weather is insanely great right now) and our dads helped DH assemble a trampoline for DS's bday. DS has been asking to "bounce" ever since! Oh and I got a facial and my eyebrows waxed

We live on base, and we had a scheduled 12-hour power outage yesterday. Since it was 82ish degrees, I went to a movie so I could sit in the air conditioning

I also went out to dinner with some friends at a new restaurant!

we got a crib that we found on Craigslist, and DH took me out to Olive Garden for the soup/salad/breadstick deal. It was a great weekend

DS and I went to my parents house and I helped my parents work on the taxes for their business. While this may not sound like fun, we actually had a great time! I love how much my parents enjoy DS and they get a kick out of everything he does...it makes me so happy!

Not really. Yesterday we went shopping at Walmart, which is never fun. Today DH was in a bad mood all day and getting annoyed with DS's typical toddler behavior. I got some cleaning done and made dinner both today and yesterday. None of that was really fun, but I like the fact that the house is clean and we have at least two days of leftovers plus a house full of groceries. After DS went to bed, I spent about an hour and half in the Jacuzzi tub with a cup of tea and a book. The bug seemed to have crawled out of DH's ass too, so we're getting ready to watch the Olympic closing ceremonies.

@MSUDucks, I just cried on the inside for you - leaving Florida to go back to 15 degrees! Ouch

The best part of my weekend is that we sold DH's old car! It went to a lady with a two year old son and a little girl on the way

he cut her an incredible deal because she really needed the car for her family, and she stood in our driveway and about cried, she was so happy. It made me so proud of DH

We went to visit my family, haven't seen them since Christmas. Was so nice to show off my bump to my mum and sister. Also loved seeing how much my baby niece has grown and being much entertained by my 2YO nephew

My parents came and helped DH paint the nursery and put down new "wood" floors, since my stupid previa prevents me from doing pretty much anything I got to supervise

It's starting to look really nice in there! Plus, we got a nice crib on Craigslist, never used, with mattress included, for $90! They'd bought it for their mother in law's house and it was too big for her spare room, so they bought her a mini crib and sold me the never used one--cha ching, I saved $180 off retail!

It's Mardi Gras season down here on the Gulf Coast and I went to a fun parade last night! Caught all kinds of beads and a cupcake and some king cake at the after party. Didn't go to Ball this year, feeling too rotund for formal wear plus with no drinking it feels a lot more like bad adult Prom.

Oh and I made beer bread Friday with an Sweet Water Blue (Blueberry Ale) and it came out awesome! Great way to get a smidge of that beer flavor that I miss lately.

Had a date night with DH last night We went to a fancy restaurant (paid for partially with a GC from Xmas), then to see Jennifer Nettles, then we stayed in a hotel because we had a free night. Fun fun!

I finished my high school basketball season last night - got to officiate the number one team in the state. it's always fun reffing high level games like that.

today was just waiting out the start of the Daytona 500 and doing some laundry.

We both work weekends but since we are FINALLY getting snow here in northern Washington we went cross country skiing one day before heading to our night shifts and snow shoeing with our dog the other. It felt SO great

I had to work. Took DD to urgent care because she has an AWFUL cough. Turns out she's suffering from hay fever. Not too much terribly exciting haha. Next weekend= DISNEYLAND!!

My cousin (who is like my little brother) and his girlfriend (who is amaze-balls) came down from VT to visit this weekend. We went to the beach yesterday to enjoy the 50degree weather. It was awesome.
