Is your LO sitting?

I don't mean getting to sitting on their own. I mean if you put them on the ground in a seated position can they stay sitting?

Yes, he will be 8 mos on March 2 and has been sitting unassisted for long periods since he was about 6 months. He has almost mastered getting into the sitting position from his stomach.

J just recently started sitting on his own. He will occasionally fall over, but he's good for the most part. He JUST started crawling too.

I should add...the reason I ask is that my neighbor has a June baby as well and she isn't sitting up yet. Like at all. I didn't say anything but I was/am curious to know if there are other babies at their age not sitting.

She sits very well and can get into the position herself.

Yes, he is almost nine months and has been sitting really well since about seven months. (Before seven months, he could sit a little, but not for long.)

Yes and has been for about 2 months now. We keep boppy behind her bc sometimes she'll throw herself back after awhile. She can't get to sitting position by herself though. Not anywhere near crawling though

Yes. As soon as he started crawling he began sitting on his own as well.

He's been sitting since around 6 months. He just turned 8 months. He still can't get into a sitting position on his own. He also isn't crawling or trying to pull up.
