2mo Eval Delay.

DS's hearing loss was substantial. So much so, his SLP recommends waiting 2mo before any retesting takes place.

If this is the case, shouldnt his teacher questionarre reports be redone too? His teacher said his behavior & participation has increased, her exact words were "...its like night and day."

When asked originally, the doc said there is no need for teacher retesting. WDYT?

Re: 2mo Eval Delay.

  • I don't know the background, but if your DS had an undiscovered hearing loss that was more than mild, that would absolutely affect behavior and the any any evaluations that presupposed normal hearing.
