Holy....whaaaaaat?!?!?

First ultrasound done today (on my birthday) and needless to say, I am shocked. We are having TWINS!!!! Two months ago I was told we may never get pregnant without ivf, and now this! We are beyond excited and happy. The heart rates are 116 for baby a and 113 for baby b at 6 weeks and 1 day and 6 weeks respectively. Looks like we are heading for quite an adventure!

Crazy to go through such emotional extremes! Congrats!

For our first, DH was fixated on whether or not we were having twins (which makes no sense since there are zero twins in our family). We laughed about it at our dating u/s this time around when the OB told us there was 'only one'. Like that was unusual.

We got to see the baby the first time on DH's birthday, he said it was by far the best one ever. We didn't see twins though, lol. Congratulations.

Thanks ladies! I'm still in shock and disbelief, and keep looking at the ultrasound picture trying to figure out HOW we're going to do this! But I know we will figure it out. Looking forward to keeping up with you ladies during these next eight months (and beyond). And who knows, maybe I can add some snarky comments to the boards
