  We are getting DD a pottery barn chair.  It is hard because she is the second, so a lot of things have already been bought.  Some ideas from DS's first birthday:

  
  

  Sand box (huge hit!)

  Slide (huge hit)

  Rocking horse (rock n ride brown pony is the perfect size )

  Mega blocks (still in use)

  Little People Farm or House

  Puzzles

  Fisher Price corn popper

  I'm going to do a couple month subscription to Citrus Lane. The mega blocks and little people are also great ideas, my LO already enjoys playing with/chewing on them.

  We suggested letter magnets, chunky puzzles, some music, books, a wagon, clothes and PJs to last through summer, MegaBlocks/Duplos, and a Melissa and Doug "toolbox" spill toy.

  We got him a chair and the rocking moose from ikea. We are suggesting summer clothes and books because we are bored with our book collection.

  I'm seriously considering a toddler basketball hoop. 

  
  

  And, since we're moving into our own house the same week as his birthday and can finally get a dog, he just might get a puppy, though he'll have to share with his sisters. ;-)

  We got our son Eric Carle and fisher Price books. Fisher price Stride to ride dinosaur, Fisher Price Work bench, and an imaginarium activity cube. I know other people have gotten him so far the little tikes activity garden, basketball hoop, water table and the little tikes deluxe ride and relax Wagon. We asked for outside toys on his wish list such as a pool, slide etc. I know people are getting summer clothing too.

  We've picked up a few books so far & a batman car thing, I already wrapped it so I forget what exactly it was called. Since almost no family lives out here with us we get a lot of money to go get LO something from them. It's sweet but I barely have enough ideas for what we should get him.

  We got the Highlights Hello magazine subscription for DD for xmas and we LOVE it.  I highly recommend it for those bored with their book collection.  It's a lot of fun and the pages are really indestructible!

  We bought a little tikes outside swing/slide. My parents got the pottery barn everywhere chair and a basketball hoop.
