My LO screamed for almost three hours straight this morning. I tried everything to calm him down and soothe him. I ended up putting headphones in my ears blasting music and singing to him while skin to skin and he finally fell asleep. I know everyone says sometimes babys just cry but I feel awful I couldnt calm him down sooner...he already had a rough night of being fussy and not sleeping very long periods of time then poo just hit the fan this morning
Re: screaming baby vent
@peanutmuse yes I did feed him, he started really getting upset about half hour after his feeding. I tried a few times after that feeding during his screaming to feed him but he wouldn't until about 2 hours in he took half of a normal feeding, but stopped & continued crying.
Maybe he was gassy? Don't feel guilty about having difficulty soothing him. You are learning too about being a mom and about him and what works for him. You aren't supposed to have all the answers right off the bat.

I consider myself lucky as he is only mildly colic. I'm totally open to talk, what exactly would you like to know about our routine?
