FF Chart and BBT

Hi friends! I'm new to FF and taking BBTs so I've been reading and trying to learn and decipher as much as I can, but I thought some of you "experts" can make sense of this a bit more for me. I will say that I have taken the temperature within about an hour of the same time each day. Not sure if that is a big deal (I know they say to do it at the same time). Pretty please?

    I'm not going to be much help, because it's my first cycle charting too, but your chart looks somewhat similar to mine (at least insofar as they both have a sharpish dip at 5-6 dpo.)

    I researched "corpus luteum dips" a bit yesterday, and they seem to be pretty normal.

    ETA: I guess you'll have to take my word for it, as far as my chart goes, because I can't get the code from FF to work (in my signature, either, but that's another topic)  :-w

    TTC #2 beginning January 2014
    AMH 1.05; FSH range 7-11

    July 2014: IUI #1.  Follistim + Pregnyl.  2 follicles--BFN
    September 2014: IUI #2.  Follistim + Pregnyl + Ganirelix + Crinone.  4(?) follicles--BFN
    October 2014: IUI #3.  More Follistim + More Ganirelix + Pregnyl + Crinone.  4 follicles--BFP!  Beta #1=10 Beta #2=33 Beta #3=97 Beta #4=158.  M/C 11/1/14
    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    What is the question you are having about your chart? for your chart to be the most helpful to you, you really should take your temp at the same everyday. I always temped at 6 am because that was before I usually woke on any normal day. I would set my alarm, temp, fall back asleep till 7, look at temp later.

    If you are a mouth breather (I am) your temp change can be more dramatic but an overall pattern should emerge. Don't get hung up on any one day of a dip or a spike, the key is to look at the overall pattern, lower temps preO a definite shift up post O, it takes 3 days of temps to confirm O, so don't stop BDing until you see the solid crosshairs. Dotted cross hairs means there is enough inconstancy that FF is not sure, whether its different temp times, fertile cm after a temp shift etc etc ......oh and if you do temp at a different time make a note on your chart, it is important to be consistant, an hour can start changing your results.

    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    @HeathernSteven. Thank you so much! That helped a lot. I will start setting my alarm in the morning. I'm kicking myself for not BD'ing after my positive opk.

    there is a large learning curve in TTC, so don't beat yourself up, there are months were everything was spot and people don't get BFP, other months when people BD once or didn't really try and they get a BFP. So just do your best :) Wishing you the best of Luck!
