My day to sleep in

It's my day to sleep in and I can't. Grrr!!! I can't stop thinking of the giant to do list for our open house tomorrow.

I am taking a little time for myself in a couple of hours and I'm going to a Zumba class with a friend. I'm not totally coordinated, but it's loads of fun.

What's everyone up to today?

    This is my weekend that residents call a "Golden weekend," our only weekend a month off. We are on call Thursday night, go home around noon on Friday and have the rest of the weekend off. I always have such high aspirations, but usually do the bare minimum housework and then become a blob the rest of the time. But today we will be making play dough. The OT recommended it to improve LOs hand strength.

    I can never sleep in when I want to! It's supposed to be really warm today but it will probably be really gross outside with all the snow melting. I'm going to take the dog for a walk this morning and do something with DH and DS later. My MIL is having us over for dinner tonight, which might be fun. :)

    I haaate when I CAN sleep in and can't.

    I'm just writing up a grocery list here, then going shopping. That's it.

    Yay for warmer weather! We have a high of 46 today and it's nice and sunny.

    I'm ecstatic, except for the part about needing to pick up the dog poop from the back yard. I should have done it when it was colder. Major yuck factor!

    Nothing special going on here. DH is working OT until noon so DS & I are just hanging out. Might get some groceries later when DH comes home but otherwise boring weekend. Those are always nice.

    Oh I do too!!  I actually love love love grocery shopping. I love looking at food, finding new things, etc.

    I wake up by 7:30 on the weekend even though LO usually sleeps until 8:30. It's frustrating.

    My grandma is coming up today to hanging out with LO and I. DH is working so he won't be home until about 630. I might go grocery shopping before grandma gets here, but nothing too big other than that!
