Where do you sewing ladies like to buy fabric? I've had pretty good luck at JoAnn, where I discovered last week the prices are much better than Hancock! I remember someone (@mnkate?) saying that Crafty Planet has great fabric. Anyone else have suggestions? Including online?
I feel like Joann's has really stepped up their fabrics. I've never been impressed with what Hobby Lobby has had to offer. I'm in Rochester though, so maybe it's different down here. fabricworm.com has some great fabric collections.
@mnkate That is so funny - I have been to SR Harris! I had to look up the name to see if that was the place, but I stopped there a few years ago when I was looking for something for our wedding. I was kind of scared because it is so warehouse-ish and I wasn't sure I belonged in there! But knowing that other real people go there makes me want to check it out again. It seems like their cottons are almost always 50% off on their sign.
I was just browsing Google offers and they have a 50% regular priced fabric deal for SR Harris. It's good for use through the end of March but you have to download it by 2/28.
Eta: There's also one for 30% off an item at Joann Fabric.
