Based off the last couple of iterations posted to the discussion thread, trimmed for brevity. (We'll need to generate the "New to Infertility" sticky thread, too.)

This is a forum for those dealing with infertility and/or undergoing IVF treatment. Because this board is a safe haven, please include “child/pregnancy mentioned” or “siggy warning” in your title or post, if applicable. This is a very emotional time for many so please take the time to read the "New to Infertility" thread for some etiquette before posting.

I really like it - short and to the point! I would only suggest adding IUI to the blurb - because we have a lot of ladies here that do that before moving on to IVF. So something like "...undergoing IUI or IVF treatment..."

Thanks, ladies! Could some others weigh in about IUI? I've seen some posters who are doing IUI get directed to the TTTC forum, but it seems like this is ambiguous as the badges also specifically include IUI cycles. I'm not sure what the consensus is.

Oops wait I didn't see this part - I just replied on the other thread first - but I kind of think it would be a good idea to include the part about "child/pregnancy mentioned" or "ticker warning" for those that have a living child.

Sorry I totally misunderstood - yes, the blurb you have is exactly what I meant - I think it's perfect the way you have it

Are you saying that you want to include something in the blurb about IUI's should go to 3T?

I have seen people still at the medicated cycle/IUI stage directed to 3T too and it makes sense to me. From what I understand 3T is for people pursuing IF testing and less invasive treatments. I lurked there and posted a couple of times when I was going through testing but didn't consider myself "IF" at that time. Personally, I like that this forum is more geared toward active (or waiting) IVF patients, or people who have questions about IVF. It's definitely a leap to come here and start posting and it seems like people don't take it lightly.

The only thing I would add to the blurb would be something like this: "if you are looking for (or would like to share) a success story, please visit PAIF or SAIF."

I really don't think is the board for iuis. I really knew nothing about them until i did my own even though I've been a part if this board for years. I lurked at 3t for answers.
I think it is fine as is.
(And even though I'm probably doing another iui - I'm not leaving unless asked. I love everyone here and I like to think I'm kinda useful)

I was leaving IUI out of the description to preserve the ambiguity.
