Uncooperative baby

Went for my 20 week sonogram. Was there for almost an hour and a half. My baby wouldn't turn no matter what we did( drank juice, walked around, coughed, put the bed all the way back) so now I have to go back so they can finish taking the measurements they need. Hope he gets this uncooperative-ness out if his system now!!

Mine took two hours, walking, drinking juice, and a wedge pillow thingy for them to finally get everything. i was saying the whole time I hope it is not a preview of what's to come!

Same exact thing happened to me. She would not move at all. She was like a little "u" in there all comfy cozy using the walls of my uterus like a lazy boy arm chair. Have to go back next Friday. She better cooperate.

Same thing for me! I go back next week because they couldn't get all the measurements. At least I get a second glimpse of my little alien!

My kiddo just kept rolling. The u/s tech would get things all lined up and go to click so it froze for measurements, but the kid would move while she was reaching. She chased the kiddo around until she got what she needed. It was a level 2 u/s that was completed by the perinatologist. He was the first man to give to do an u/s on me. The pressure he used to get what he needed was incredible. Like, I could feel my uterus shifting inside my body. I'm pretty sure he was trying to trap the kid and keep it in position. Or something.

I think I would be secretly happy about baby not cooperating because it would mean getting to see her again.

I drank a Shamrock Shake just before my a/s (yuuuuum!) and the little dude was so active the poor tech could barely get her measurements. We're going back in a little over 2 weeks because I need my cervical measurements rechecked, but she also wants to get a little better view of his heart.

He's currently doing a tap dance next to my belly button... must know I'm talking about him. :x

I haven't had my A/S yet but if my NT scan (didn't cooperate at all!) and my last u/s (as soon as the wand was over the baby it curled up in a ball and did a head dive for the other side of my ute!!) are any indication, then we will never find out the sex if this baby :-( hope you ladies have successful 2nd appointments!!

(Ugh, had to edit twice! This baby is eating my brain!)

I'm kinda jealous you get to see baby again! My LO was apparently an angel for the shots. We were in and out in an hour. The head radiologist came in and said everything looked perfect and they got everything.

I had a lazy baby too! I was on the table forever. The tech had me rolled on one side them roll to the other. That didn't work. The she had me go pee and move around a little bit and finally when I got back on the table and she looked our LO flashed us. I was kind of worried because she was all curled up in a ball, but everything was perfect!

Ours took about an hour too. The cutest part was when the tech was trying to check all areas of the brain and he kept kicking his foot above his head and getting in the way

My DD wasn't cooperative at her A/S. They got all the measurements they needed but weren't able to tell us the sex. My A/S for this LO is tomorrow, so I'm hoping this LO is more cooperative for ALL needed measurements.

Mine sat breach in my pelvis so we didn't get all the measurements either. I'm just happy to see her again in two weeks!

I ate a pop tart and he was moving and kicking soooo much. The tech told me to skip the pop tart next time lol.

I've done this before too. I only have a few sips of DH's coffee each morning and pretty much that's the only caffeine I get. I had half a pop the other day and little man was like YEAH PUNCH ALL THE THINGS !! I keep envisioning this going on in my uterus:

My A/S took an hour (normal is about 20-30 minutes for my office). She was too active in there and the tech had a hard time getting leg/arm measurements and getting her to hold still enough to capture all the heart shots.

I had a small glass of OJ with breakfast about 1/2 hour prior, so that could have been why. I did not drink the OJ with the sole purpose of getting baby to move. I always have a little with breakfast.
