Lightweight Stroller

Has anyone used this lightweight stroller before? Just curious your opinions on it...good and bad!

As a FTM I'm not much help but I recommend going to the store and playing with it. I registered for a stroller and then when I finally got to play with it in person I changed my mind about it. Make sure it's easy to collapse and light weight for you.

My two (unanswered by link) questions would be- does it recline fully for use with an infant and/or is there a way to snap an infant carseat onto the frame.

If not- it won't really be usable until baby can sit unsupported.

We decided to go with a City Mini which only weighs 2 more pounds but can both recline fully and has the ability to snap a baby bucket on to it. It is quite a bit more expensive though.

I've not used that one but I can tell you that you won't be able to use it at first.

I second going to a store and trying them out. I thought I wanted an umbrella as a light weight, but ended up going with a Britax B-Agile because I found it much easier to work with for the same volume of stroller. One thing to look out with umbrellas is whether the seat can recline for new babies. Otherwise they're fairly useless for a few months.

OP, I have not used that one but I love my Maclaren umbrella stroller. It's also Birth+.

Oh I thought it looked like one of the basic ones that didn't recline all the way.

I think you have the right one but I didn't know if that was reclined back far enough for a newbie.

We used a MacClaren snap and go when DD was a newborn and then had a MacClaren Triumph for when she could sit unsupported. We got them both free (thank you Martha Stewart's baby shower show) - but I loved them. They were the perfect size. I'm dreading going up to a full size stroller now that I want something to contain 2 kiddos.

Also buying a snap and go, and a lightweight stroller could still be a lot more cost effective than some of the big travel systems that do both. It really depends on what you need/will use the stroller for.

I don't have that one, I have the chicco echo from target. For me the features I needed in a lightweight stroller was light enough to carry up/down the stairs while also carrying DD (I live in a walk up) and it must fold and open easily with one hand so I can hold DD in the other hand. This is crucial when you have a crawler you can't set down on the ground. These are things you really need to test in the store. With the echo you don't need hands to fold it, it has a foot pedal, and you just need one hand to open. That's why I picked the echo (the uppa baby BTW has the worst folding mechanism ever btw) If you want something you can use from birth it has to recline flat. The chicco liteway looks nice for that and the chicco liteway plus model allows to snap the carseat. We just used the snap n go with the carseat for the first 8months then got the Echo. We never got a fancy stroller.

I second/third this recommendation. We also ended up changing our minds, more than once, about the stroller we wanted once we actually handled it in the store.

I have zero experience with the one you linked, OP, but we were also looking for a lightweight stroller and ended up with the Britax B-Agile.
