Anyone drive a newish Town & Country?

Hi, I know quite a few of you drive mini vans, so I thought I'd post this here. We are looking at buying a 2012 Town & Country from my uncle (car salesman).  He says it's a good, reliable mini van and is giving us a family discount. Anyone drive one? Likes? Dislikes? I like the look of the Odyssey better, but this one is available now, one of our cars is in the process of conking out (it's 14 years old!) and I love that the doors and lift open at the push of a button! I read that they made a lot of changes in 2011 so an earlier model may not be as comparable? Thanks!

    Thanks, @Twolittlewheels! I will look into that. I have one in a high back booster and one in an infant bucket seat now.

    I have a 2013 and I love it. The only spot in the third row with a top tether and latch is the middle. But both captains chairs have top tethers. I can't think of any complaints I have about it

    @Quesyrah, thanks! Our kids are similar ages...where are yours seated in the back? I was thinking both in 2nd row captain chairs, but maybe it would be easier with another configuration?

    I have them both in the captains chairs. It's easier for me to get them in and out. I typically leave part of the third row folded down and DS climbs in that way so that when I'm putting groceries/stroller/etc away he's contained inside the car.

    Nice! I am so excited to have more space if we buy it. We currently own 2 smallish cars (Ford Focus and VW Jetta) and we are pretty squished.

    I feel you. I was driving a 14 year old Toyota Camry! It was a good car but it was feeling too small. It broke down one day last month and though the repairs weren't outrageous it seemed like a good excuse to upgrade.

    I can't remember if mine is a 2011 or 2012 (and too lazy to look at the registration) but I love it. The sliding doors are awesome (making it possible to park it in my shoebox of a garage). I have the twins' Diono Radians in the two middle seats and getting them in and out is a breeze.

    I got a 2013 T&C we just bought it this week. I love it so far!

    So I'm still in honeymoon stage and won't be any help LOL

    Wow there is automatic stow n go? I think it's pretty easy to fold the seats down though- and I have issues with my hands due to arthritis. What model do you have? We got the touring which I thought had all the bells and whistles

    Oh Sophie, I do have one complaint- I hate the built in DVD player. DS asks to watch a movie every damn time we get in the car. I'm still waiting for the novelty to wear off and we've had it for a month!

    Haha, I am a bit worried about that! Hoping we can reserve it for longer trips, but we'll see :-)

    We have a 2013 and I've enjoyed it. We had an Odyssey and then traded it in for the T&C for more bells and whistles. I haven't had many complaints, and we only use the DVD player for long trips - they know better than to ask.

    We love our 2013 T&C like love it. I use the stow and go way more than I thought I would. I have DD in the back in a high back booster and DS and the new baby will be in the captains chairs. Mine has all the bells and whistles and it is my favorite car I have owned. You will love it!
