Please help! So confused! (BFP mentioned)

My husband and I have been ttc for 2 years straight, without a single bfp. Yesterday I took a test just to get it out of the house so I wouldn't be obsessing about it. I did the math and I'd be about 8dpo, to my complete surprise it was a faint positive. You can clearly see the second pink line, I put it on another site and everyone agreed it was a bfp. So today I got up and got some more tests to confirm, I didn't use fmu (first morning urine) but didn't think it mattered that much. I got 2 bfn's. Any ideas? False positive? Chemical pregnancy? Today"s urine too diluted? I feel terrible because I got my husband's hopes up.

Are you in a treatment cycle? If so, did you test out your trigger shot? If not, it could be lingering still.

When I first posted here I went to the main page to see if it was there and it didn't show up, so I posted on another board. When I saw it posted here I tried to delete, don't know how. Don't see the huge deal as you can just pass it up if it bothers you. Everyone is human.

If it's not a treatment cycle, then it's not the trigger. If it is a treatment cycle - then my guess it was the trigger.

If you didn't use FMU today but did yesterday then you know what you need to do first thing tomorrow.

If you use FMU tomorrow then there's your answer - chem preg or faulty test.

If you've never lurked around here and wonder what the "big deal" is of a possible BFP coming from a stranger, posting on multiple boards well.... :::headdesk:::: I can't help you.
