DS is a cry baby!

This is really weird for me.  DD was always a clumsy kid (still is) and she would fall, get back up, and keep going.  She would only cry if she was really hurt.  DS on the other hand cries if he rubs up against couch wrong.  He's a really active kid, so he falls down a lot.  That means he cries a lot.  I was looking back at his baby pics and he was always so happy and smiling.  I don't remember him crying all that much.  Now it seems like he's crying all the time.  I'm hoping things improve when he learns to talk and can start communicating what he wants/needs.  DS has always been so hard core physically, I just thought he would be able to roll with the punches a little easier.  Anyone else have a kid like this?

EDIT - DS is 16 months.  I've given up on having an updated ticker.

  • My DS is like that.  He cries all of the time.  This morning he cried because I took a break to take a drink while reading to him.  I mean sobbed.  I give him a quick hug if he wants one (which is always) and then go back to what I was doing.  Unless he's in for a full blown meltdown he usually stops crying.  He just likes a little extra snuggles.

    Poor kid, how sad!
He must have really needed to know what happens when you give a mouse a cookie.

    It ain't easy being 1...
