Injured nipple

So I'm not even sure what happened, but I think E must've grazed her new top teeth on my left nipple. Now there is a red mark on it that hurts SO FREAKIN BAD when she nurses on that side. Maybe it's a blister. What can I do to help it heal? Any suggestions? I am currently wincing in pain as I type this.

    Thanks ladies. I don't have any clotrimazole on hand, but I have the other two. I'll try that and some BM. Does lanolin help too with this kind of thing?

    If it's a blister it will just hurt until it pops and then it looks gross but will feel much better. I keep it smeared with lanolin until that happens.
    Also if it does pop and you bleed when nursing you'll get black tar like poop in diapers. Freaked me out the first time that happened with G and I wish someone would have warned me! That is what digested blood looks like. Lovely, right?

    Just had this happen last week! I swear he bit through... ( I know he didn't realllly but it sure felt that way!) I just made sure to be gentle with it. I think it was kellymom(?) but I would do a bowl w warm saltwater, lean into it for a few minutes, pat dry (not totally dry) and apply medela lanolin while it was still dampish. Worked really well for me.
