Okay the Zara post made me think about shopping and clothes. What is you LO wearing for their 1 year session? Post your outfit or inspiration.

I think we are going to go with "grownup"-esque clothes so hopefully no one gets angry and thinks that I'm hypersexualizing my baby or something

I think I am getting a onesie off Etsy that has the little suspenders and bowtie sewn on. And maybe some argyle legwarmers. I also want to put him in a preppy outfit like brightly colored pants (maybe yellow or coral) with a button down.

I posted in the baby gap thread the outfit I reaaaally wanted but they haven't gotten it in and her pics are this sunday so I don't have time to order it

I am doing a cake smash with her wearing *GASP* a tutu and pearls, then I have a cute onesie I got from etsy with a pink 1 on it and a pink diaper cover and I am trying to choose between these 2 outfits..any input would be appreciated!

@pinottoparenthood you know how I feel about bow ties & suspenders! You're OK in my book! Also H&M has yellow, green, red, & bright blue pants for $9.95 & the material is awesome.

I got this outfit for Brayden. My husband has the same exact sweater & skinny tie in this pattern. We're going to do 1 year/family photos again.

tondraluv find me an outfit plllleaaassse. Something cute but not too babyish but not too grown up. He already did the colored chinos and a button down so I want to stray from that too lol

I don't either...I didn't even do newborn ones. I took some really cute pics myself when he was 6 months old, but that's the only "photo shoot" he's ever had.

I honestly prefer the other outfit but the tutu she is wearing in her smash picture is pink and the 1 on the onesie she is also wearing for pics is pink too so I think I will go with this outfit for that reason alone.

I ordered all of Olivia's outfits off of Etsy. She will wear the Minnie Mouse outfit during her party also, and the diaper cover is just for the cake smash photos.

We don't really do them either -- but I have some good friends who are talented amateurs and thats' who did his Christmas pics and who will do his 1 year pics! For his newborn pics, we got them free from our wedding photographer, because we never used our engagement pics session! :-)

that is too cute! I am in the camp of 'they only turn 1 once!' but I know other people aren't that into it but I would 100% buy that shirt. So cute!

on the flipside - if you bought something theme related but no 1 on it, he could always wear it again

I was thinking for his party. I think I'm going to skip a photo shoot and just takes 1.5k pictures at his party.

Ohhh yes it is a must for the party. I thought you were doing a seperate photo session. Have him wear the shirt for the party it matches the theme and would be cute for Thanks you cards.

@Trin42 I get Brayden's suspenders from H&M. They come with these amazing jeans that "grow with him". The suspenders come in three different patterns. They also sell plain black ones separately.

We are doing a family photo shoot ( our first ever) the same day. I have to coordinate everyone! It's giving me anxiety to be honest. I have easily 25 Pinterest pages devoted to it.

For the first time we are getting pro pics for him here in a couple of weeks, so excited! I just bought a lot of clothes today so I still don't know exactly what he is wearing. For the nice pics it will be a colorful button up with jeans. Only the jeans for the cake smash.

For the first half of his birthday party he will be wearing this outfit. Well, not sure about the leggings, depends on how they look. Then after he eats his cake I will change him into a button up and jeans.

Am I the only one who hasn't put any thought into LO's first birthday party? Bad mom alert! I've got two big work events (like 20k people big) a friends wedding, LO's party, a wedding shower for a friend and a baby shower for another friend all in the next few months so haven't really even started thinking about the party. I love all the outfits and you ladies are definitely inspiring me to get moving!!!

@clgsquared we didn't do pro pics either, but we have been to portrait innovations and you get a lot of pictures for your money. If there is one near by, it is worth looking into
