I had my 24 week appointment and got to hear the babe through a Doppler. I also got my glucose tolerance test results and I passed! Gelato for life. Next appointment is my last before I start going bi-monthly. Time is flying by!
24 wk appointment today at 3:40. Very excited to hear my daughters HB, not so excited to let these vampires take my blood... Again. also hoping that my OB can figure out why I have a yeast infection that won't go away... Sorry for the TMI...
23 week appt today (I guess I am a week off of the norm of appointments?). Heartbeat sounded good. Got my script to take the glucose test, and was instructed to set it up at 28 weeks. Interesting that you guys had it at 24 -- Dr. told me to take it between 27 - 29 weeks, but 28 is ideal. There was also a script for an iron test and some other things as well. Fun times at the lab ahead!

My stomach has been really tight and hurting since last night and I'm having problems urinating so I'm going in at 2 to see what's going on. Thoughts and prayers that it's nothing, please.

My doctor instructed me to do the same. I have another checkup at 28 weeks so I'm going to do my test at 27 so we'll have the results for my appointment.

A/S today at 1:30 EST!! The wait is finally over! Now I'm just hoping we have a cooperative LO and everything looks good!

Just got back from the a/s and we are officially TEAM PINK!!! DH is totally over the moon. The dr said everything looks great, she's measuring right on track, weighs 1lb exactly, and HR was 139. She was in a funky position so I have to go back in 3 weeks for a follow up scan to get some more pictures of the heart but the tech said she was able to get the most important ones so I'm not worried. Feeling very excited and relieved right now!
Had my 22 week appointment today and took home my lab slip for glucose testing. I was instructed to do it between 25-27 weeks. I am also not fasting this time. When I did it with my first two I had to fast before. This time I'm encouraged to have a healthy meal before I go.
I met a new doctor today. My office has 4 docs that deliver and 2 more that just do office visits. It's encouraged to meet all of them throughout your prenatal care so that when it's time to deliver you know them all. I just switched to this office with this pregnancy and I really liked the doc I met today. So far I have met 3 of them and only disliked 1 of them. Luckily she is pregnant and will be on maternity leave when I deliver!
I had the lab glucose screening this morning too, and it really wasn't bad. The worst was about 30 mins after chugging it, I started feeling lousy (probably from all the sugar running through my blood stream!). Next appointment with the Dr. is in two weeks, but hopefully I'll hear if I passed or not before then!
