Baby boy name... Thoughts?

Hi all My hubby really likes the name Blair for a boy name... I like it but I know it's also used as a girl name to, I know I need to get over that but having a name that fits both sexes is not always fun, however you rarely hear the name Blair... Thoughts on name for a boy?

I like it more for a girl. I'm not really crazy about using my girly names for boys. But it's up to your and your hubby. If you guys like it it's all that matters

NMS, but I've heard worse! I've only ever met 3 Blairs and all of them were female. I second the PP who suggested a strongly masculine MN to balance out the neutral FN though.

Since Blair is a male name I don't see a problem using it on a boy.

Personally, I prefer it for a girl. I have a unisex name which is commonly used for boys and I hated it growing up. But that's just me.

If you love it, go with it!! I also agree with putting a masculine middle name. We are going with a unisex name for our little girl and making the middle name very feminine.

People might not like unisex names... but at least he won't be the 3rd Brayden in his Kindergarten class or whatever popular name is at the moment.

Thanks everyone! I did look it up, it was originated as a boys name, and started as a girls name in the 80's. So I am good with that! Thanks all, hope everyone is feeling well.
