SEX!! .... After c section

Anybody not make it to 6 weeks? I will be 5 weeks pp on Monday. I haven't bled in about a week and a half and my incision looks very good with minimal soreness. I don't go back to the OB until 7 weeks pp, so I won't be waiting until then. Did anyone dtd around 5 weeks pp? I am seriously considering it- it's been forever! The only thing my ob mentioned to me was that they start bc at six weeks pp and advise condom use for a month. Would a weeks earlier really do any damage?

    No! The risk of infection is serious. Plus, it hurts like hell the first few times anyway so I'm in no rush.

    I did it at 5 weeks pp after my vaginal delivery last time. It wasn't great but it wasn't painful. Probably best to wait to get the go ahead but I can't blame you for the way you feel, I totally understand!

    I had sex before my appt and i had a rcs. In my defense, they never told me not to when I was discharged. It was totally worth it :)

    My vagina cringed when I saw the title of this post.
    I'm not a c/s mom but i would hold off until the OB appt, and you get the go ahead. The risk of infection definitely worries me, so I can't imagine trying any earlier.

    They say 6 weeks for a reason. You're putting yourself at risk for infection plus aggravating your incision. I'd wait. It's not much longer.

    I'll be waiting around 6 years I reckon - noone is touching me that way til I've forgotten the stress of an emergency c-section, my boobs have stopped leaking all over the place, and I can successfully shave the bikini line again
