Yes! Just last night. I used to be able to get away with sleeping half on my belly/half on my side, but now I'm getting jabs what feels like near my ovaries. And it is painful and takes me by surprise. If I don't roll over, I get like 2-3 jabs in a row.
Settle down in there, young man, you've still got 8 more weeks until you get evicted!
One of my twins kicks/punches me in the same spot over and over again. It feels like I have a bruise there and she keeps pushing on it. Only a few more weeks and it will all be worth it
yes, the shifting can be painful. My MW also put it so eloquently this morning when I asked whether I had pee'd myself or if I was leaking fluid, she told me that Baby must have head butted my bladder.
Um, yea, exactly. I get jabs right in the bladder that make me question if I'm going to pee myself and cry at te same time. Baby also jabs right near my belly button constantly. That hurts because there's no where for that jab to go. I know the baby's running out of room but I don't know how it's so strong. Same with rolling, it's like baby wants to roll out of my stomach it guys so much. Maybe I should stop eating protein and weaken this kid...jk
Yep. This LO is still changing positions completely, and when he does, you can see my belly jumping out in certain places.
The worst so far, though, was when he had his legs in my ribs. I felt him there and tapped. Well, he didn't like that one bit. He kind of suddenly jerked and twisted his leg away, and man did that hurt! No more tapping baby...
Shifting/rolling is very painful lately and causing me to arch my back to make room. I also think she has turned sideways. I have a lump on both sides and hiccups into my right side instead of my butt/crotch now. Lovely. This is the most painful of my 3 pregnancies!
Married 2005, DS: 2006, DD: 2008 EDD: 4/16/14- IT'S A GIRL! Scarlett Jean
Today has been bad! He is poking something out my stomach just below my ribs (thankfully not in them) it feels like when my brother used to poke me real hard but this doesn't stop! I even went to the faculty fridge and barrowed somebody's Sprite can to put there - it helped but I can't teach from the fridge all day! And they might come want their drink and wonder why it's on my belly...
With my DD i never got painful movements but with this one it is so painful. As i was reading this my DS kicked me in the bladder and i almost peed. Fun times.
Yes, sometimes it feels like she has all of her limbs stretched as far as she can trying to make more room. That hurts like mad. Other days she gives me swift kicks in my nether regions that make my eyes water. One day she was literally kicking me in the butt form the inside and that was the weirdest feeling ever.
Baby is transverse (still! ugh!) and loves to karate chop my side.. where I have the least amount of room. It's so painful I have to stop mid-sentence if I'm talking.
