  When was your last date night?  The week before Christmas...too long ago!
  
  Where did you go, what did you do? We did some Christmas shopping and grabbed a bite to eat.  We were so amazed how quickly we could get in and out of stores without the two little ones.
  
  Do you have anything planned anytime soon?  We have dinner plans this weekend, ILs are babysitting.  We're debating between a local BYOB Italian place or Hibachi. 
  
  Do you ever have stay-at-home date nights? We are trying to do this at least weekly...and a key component is NO TV.  I feel like we spend too much time zoned out in the TV because we are, understandably, tired.  But just having a glass of wine and talking while we play cribbage or some other card game has been a lot of fun!

  It was DH's Christmas party. Before that was before Baby Boy was born

  Christmas party was at this nice hotel out in the country.
  Date night last year we went to a comedy show

  Going to another comedy show next month!

  
  

  Do you ever have stay-at-home date nights?
  Nope. I'm too tired for it.

  Oh, add me to the too exhausted to stay awake category.  It's really really hard for me to not pass out every single night as soon as they're both in bed.  But DH and I were having no kid free time (DD1 goes to bed around 10), and it was not good for us, so I've been trying to suck it up once a week.  If I stay up, DH will usually agree to get up with the kids for a little bit in the a.m.
