Nipple question

Sorry if I am sounding inept here, I am a ftm, and I swear everytime I take a hot shower my nipples double in size under the warm water. Am I crazy?

This just made me smile, and no you aren't crazy. Nipple changes were really strange to me my first pregnancy. I was shocked at how dramatic it was. I felt like during my last pregnancy I couldn't have picked my own nips out of a lineup.

MH just mentioned to me a few days ago how mine are getting bigger, this is my 2nd baby. Seems like everything is getting bigger huh lol

Mine are bigger by the day! It's crazy. I think @ladybug710 nailed it with "I couldn't have picked my own nips out of a lineup"

Nips get bigger and darker during pregnancy. It supposedly helps baby find its food when it is newly born.

Mine are even bigger and darker when I get out of the shower too. Even the skin around them is blotchy/darker for an hour or so.

They get closer to "normal" but weren't exactly the same. But then I pumped and bfed for almost a year as well

Mine didn't get too ridiculous the first time, but this time they are getting crazy big.

Bahaha! This is what I call mine! My DH thinks its hilarious! I unfortunately am not as fond of this pregnancy's changes. For some reason I seemed to have forgotten that my body went through this the first time because it all seems so new to me this time around... :-D

My nipples are bigger than pepperoni!!!! They are cracking in the middle and just huge. I hope they stop growing! Mine are dark, too.

Yikes. Mine are like freaking saucers lately. Can't imagine what they'll look like in 3 months!

. I meant so much more as in nursing your baby (if you go that route)

So since my cat is also KU, I've been checking her nips for changes. They've turned a bit pink, which is normal, but I got around to counting them the other day. 9. 9 damn nipples. Not 8, not 10... 9. Ours can't be as bad as that.
