Lights on for Hailey

Hey ladies. A tragedy happend in my town and I'm asking you to join this cause. 10 year old Hailey was abducted yesterday while walking home from a friend's house. Our local police found the man 3 hours after it happened, but it was too late for Hailey. Our town and the surrounding area is showing support by turning our porch lights on.

My husband and I have been so torn up by this, especially now that we are having a little girl. I wish there was something I can do to help this family, but I know nothing with bring her back. So the only thing I can think of is to reach out to you guys for thoughts and prayers for her family and to turn your porch lights on tonight.

If you would like to join the Facebook group it's called Porch lights for Hailey Owens. People are taking pictures of their lights and stating where they are sending support from.

I read this story on the News. It's so very heartbreaking- my thoughts and prayers are with her family and your whole community. We will partake and leave our porch light on!

@Kbinford01 yea been here and the surrounding area my entire life. I drive by the place she was taken everyday on my way to and from work. I had passed that area about 15 mins before it had happened. It's so tragic. It's shaken up our community pretty bad. You never think that something like this could happen to you, let alone so close to home.
