Breastfeeding

is spitting up normal?

Starting last night my one week old has started to drink until he eventually spits up (sometimes while still on the breast)

Twice he has wanted to continue nursing afterwards.

Is this normal and should I let him continue nursing after he spits up?

It is completely normal. Sometimes my son spits up frequently, then we will go days where he doesn't spit up at all. I joke with my husband that LO is attempting to return the milk.
ETA: yes, continue to feed him aftre
