    Week/fruit? 29, acorn squash

    Symptoms?  Tired, heartburn...having issues sleeping - keep waking up and changing positions, etc.  Some RLP and my ute and vag feel like they're going to fall out.

    Upcoming appointments?  Had my 29 week appt today - got my TDap shot...I go back in two weeks.

    Rants/raves?  We went to the mall last weekend and built baby a build-a-bear dog (DH and I made one for DS the day before he was born when we were trying to walk the mall to induce labor).  Then we took DS into the lego store and let him pick out a new duplos set and DH bought a big intricate lego set.  We all renewed our love for legos over the weekend - DS has been constantly playing with his new legos and wakes up asking to play with them, etc.  DH and I spent all of naptime and after bedtime building his lego set together...it was a lot of fun.  Cost a chunk of money, but we had a good time playing all weekend.

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity?  Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities?  One of my favorite summer activities is camping, sadly, we haven't been since before DS was born.  The last time we camped we went out to Estes Park, CO and camped and white water rafted...this was all a couple months before I got pregnant with DS and we haven't done any of that since.

    I also enjoy going to the pool and DS loves it.  We have a neighborhood pool, so I don't think going is going to be affected too much as long as I have the stroller to lay baby in and keep her in the shade and as long as it's not too hot out.  I don't even know when a baby can get into a pool?  I know they aren't supposed to have sunscreen until after 6 months of age.  DS was born at the end of July and I had no desire to take him to a pool the summer he was born....but with this one I will have a three year old that wants to go to the pool.

    So, just wanted to let y'all know, I've left you :( I've finally updated my due date for my ticker. Doc changed me to June 4 a month ago, and I was I denial. So I'm now a Wednesday ticker. So....yah....see you around I suppose?! ;)

    Oh I'll still read what's going on here in good ol' Tuesday. I'm not going to June or anything crazy like that. Still having baby in May with a RCS and all, just moving next door to Wednesday.

    Symptoms?
    I got heartburn for the second time last night (it's ok... go ahead and hate me).
    I also always feel full but seem to always be starving? WTF?

    Upcoming appointments?
    Great appointment yesterday, back in 2 weeks!

    Rants/raves?
    DH wants to go camping with my brothers the weekend of my baby shower. I told him he can go - it's not like he's needed that weekend and it's basically his last chance. I guess I was just hoping for a foot rub after it. Sounds like I'll be getting a pedicure!

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity? Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities?

    We own a 6 person speed boat and I love, love, LOVE going out in it to soak up the sun and drink! I don't think you can put an infant in a life vest ;) so obviously that won't include me this summer. Maybe we'll leave him with MIL once but it won't be our usual weekend routine.

    Week/fruit? 26 weeks and a head of lettuce [which I should be eating more often!! ;)]

    Symptoms? I've started getting heartburn a little more often. Definitely not as bad as I had with DD...yet.

    Upcoming appointments? Glucose test and 28 week appointment on 3/3.

    Rants/raves?
    Rants:     My sinuses just won't get better. I've been taking zyrtec daily, but I can't shake this sinus problem. I barely slept last night b/c I kept waking up over and over. I'll have to talk to the OB to see what else I can try.
    Raves: So happy that I've been able to keep up with the gym. I was having a hard time keeping up with any jogging or even the elliptical, but have started swimming 3-4 times a week.

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity?  Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities?
    I can't wait to get back outside for runs and biking this summer. DH and I will switch on and off watching the baby while the other goes on runs. My parents will watch DS while we take DD on bike rides. I also can't wait to just hang out on the back deck and relax every night after work. No big plans for any summer trips since we're saving up for our new house.

    Week/fruit? 26 weeks, lettuce

    Symptoms? Extreme dislikes for certain foods (cooked greens, yuck). Hungry all the time, but lacking appetite (if that makes sense)

    Upcoming appointments? Friday for perinatal, first week of March for GTT

    Rants/raves? Less than 100 days to go!!!! (I don't know if that's a rant or a rave...)

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity? Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities?
    I love to sit by the pool/in the sun. Now that we moved, we no longer have a pool, so I'm going to have to find some other outdoor activities for LO and me to enjoy.

    Oy a day late...

    Week/fruit? 27 weeks- rutabaga

    Symptoms? The bottom of my uterus pretty much aches every day- and since I pulled some muscle unloaded a pallet on Sunday it's especially sharp on my lower left side so it's been bugging me. Also peeing like a crazy person! Energy isn't too bad- steady if day.

    Upcoming appointments? I have my elective 4D ultrasound with all my family on Monday!!

    Rants/raves? My DH convinced me to get a snoggle pillow and holy cow is it awesome!! Now he wants one :)

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity? Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities? Hmm I love beaching, kayaking, and working out outside but with family nearby I think this should all be easy to keep up.

    Week/fruit? 28 weeks

    Symptoms? More tired then usual on some days. Had a medical issue pop up this weekend (varicose veins). Thought it was purely cosmetic until I lost feeling in my leg. So now I have to elevate whenever possible of I loose feeling. They are afraid of a clot forming so no more running.

    Upcoming appointments? Tuesday for my two week and to check my leg out. I know it's gotten worse and they told me to call, but I don't want to be a pest.

    Rants/raves? Working on my plan be for my son. Seems were running into some time frame issues with my husbands deployment coming up in April. It may go longer then we thought into may. Not worried about delivering alone, I just want to make sure my little man is taken care of.

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity? Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities?

    We have a huge backyard I love playing with my son in it in the summer. Letting him swim in his kiddie pool etc, because we're in the south and it gets so hot we may have to time out door play accordingly.

    Please don't hate me for forgetting that yesterday was Tuesday! Can I please still do ticker change day today??? haha

    Week/fruit? 26 weeks/ head of lettuce 

    Symptoms? Heart burn like woah! And getting dizzy and heart palpitations more often. Could've sworn my BP was low yesterday, checked and it was actually high! Not cool.

    Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow check up since the office had to reschedule my appointment from Monday. Excited to see baby girl tomorrow!

    Rants/raves? 
    Rants: Annoyed/pissed off with workman's comp insurance and trying to straighten some issues out with my back problem. I hate working with these people.
    Raves: Just placed my first order for cloth diapers!! Getting a little at a time but so excited that I'll actually be holding some soon!!

    GTKY: What is your favorite summer time activity?  Do you think having a newborn will affect you being able to do these activities? Favorite summer activity... CAMPING! We can't wait to take little one out after a month or two! Thankfully we can kinda break ourselves into "camping" by going to DH's family's camper (which is really just a super nice smallish trailer, we joke his mom goes living in the woods not camping). We'll still sleep outside in the tent though and little one can sleep in this awesome little moses basket/travel sleep mat with us or in the camper in a pack and play with his parents. Just can't wait to have our little girl outside with us!

    ETA: cause apparently I'm not paying attention to what fruit baby is this week!
