Am I overthinking this? 1st bday

So, I want to do a "Spring in Paris/Madeline" theme. So, the Madeline colors are true blue, red and yellow. I also would really like to use pastels- light blues, greens, pinks. I really don't know how to combine them...I think it would look too mis-matched. Should I get rid of Madeline altogether, and just have more of a spring type of theme, with a few hints of Paris related items?

Thanks for your input! I've been thinking about this way too much.

If you really want the pastels, I'd probably scrap the Madeline idea and just do a springtime in Paris type theme. Although personally I prefer Madeline (I'm sure either will be cute!).

Agree that I don't think they'll look right together so I think you need to do either/or.

I did see that- that is really cute, but I already thought ahead and had a dress made for her. I think i'm going to stick with the pastels for Paris in spring. I really like the idea of the tea party idea too, and thought of buying different tea cups from the thrift store, and different teas, and having the ladies and little girls choose their cup and tea
