Saline ultrasound and spotting

So I went in for my saline ultrasound on Monday morning and of course had some spotting that day. No biggie, pretty much expected it. Yesterday I had a bit more, but today too? I mean it was just saline, I wouldn't have thought there would be too much irritation. Anyone else experience this?

    I had a lot of spotting with the HSG, nothing with the SHG. Did they tell you they had to dilate your cervix a bit? That was the issue with me and it did last around 3 - 4 days, but it was never more than light spotting.

    It is definitely light spotting. He did use a speculum to insert the catheter. Maybe that is why. I was just surprised because I had only one day of spotting with my HSG.

    Also, just wanted to add (((HUGS))) about having to deal with not only a loss, but an ectopic.

    Aww, thanks, love. I really appreciate that. I have another WTF appt. today.. the never ending saga continues!  

    Anyway, I'm sure the spotting is fine, but I would check in with them if it turns into more than spotting, it'll probably resolve in the next couple days.

    They might have irritated your cervix and that is why you are spotting.  If it doesn't get better, I would ask.  Hope it gets better and you aren't in any pain!

    Thanks hon! The day of wasn't bad at all, but I have been crampy the past two days. And add on this spotting after just ending my period. Blah. :-<

    I had some heaving "spotting" for about 3-4 days. I was kinda surprised, and lots of cramps for those days also.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI
    IVF#1 BFP EDD 1/10/13
    Beta#1 51  Beta #2 148
    A/S 8/20/13 Team Pink
    Induced week 39 due to severe GD
    Baby girl born 1/4/13

    Where are you at in your cycle? Curious if that might play a role? I never had any spotting with the SHG, just wicked cramps 1/3 times. Hope it goes away! In case your misery wants company, I just spotted every day of the 5 weeks I was on BCP, and now I get to have AF! Oh the joys.

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I am on day 11 of my cycle. I was done spotting on Saturday and then I started spotting again afterwards. I guess I wasn't prepared for it.
