High-Risk Pregnancy

*** Wednesday Bedrest Check-in ***

Good morning ladies.

How did you sleep?

Any new pregnancy symptoms, cravings, or aversions?

Upcoming appointments, milestones, or updates? (Ticker change?)

QOTD: Is your hospital "Go Bag" ready? If so what have you included? STM's any advice on what might be needed? If yours isn't ready when or do you plan on putting one together for 'just in case'

Re: *** Wednesday Bedrest Check-in ***

  • I've taken two. 30 min. naps since 5ish this morning.... I suppose I'll eventually fall asleep at some point today.

Thankfully I feel so much better today!! Unfortunately now dh is dealing with a few of the same symptoms but he's staying medicated lol.

Today's our ticker change day. We're officially 30weeks today..... even though in our last u/s LO was measuring 10 days ahead. I don't know if he'll go for it but I wanted to ask the Dr if we could check baby's growth again in a couple of weeks the adjust our EDD.

QOTD: I don't have a "Go Bag" yet maybe dh and I can work on that this weekend. So far I'm just planning on packing a couple of nightgowns, a nursing bra, and our camera... I can't pack up our toiletries, phone chargers, or pillows yet so those just have to wait until the day of. I am making a list though so that when it's time we can just go through and grab what we need.

  • Hello hello. I slept ok last night, up a couple times but overall not too bad.

I saw my OB this morning and he did a biophysical profile again - baby looks great! Tomorrow is ticker change day for me, 33 weeks. I am starting to get so excited that we will be meeting her soon! I really need to get going on preparing, though!

QOTD: My hospital bag is not at all ready. I am going to work on that this weekend, I think. I have a bunch of travel toiletries that I need to go through to make sure I have enough of everything, and I have no idea where my nursing bras are from DD so I may need to pick up some more. Ahh so much to do!

  • I have a PTL bag packed and in my car it has: flip flops, yoga pants, loose top, sports bra, nursing bra, some travel sized soaps/shampoos. It's pretty basic.

I'm planning around 34-35 weeks to pack my full bag: Going home outfit, another nursing bra, makeup, towel, 1-2 pillows, boppy. I'll also pack baby stuff in a diaper bag: 1 sleeper, going home outfit, 1 velcro swaddler, 2 blankets, burp cloth, our preferred soaps.

I keep getting on DH to pack his bag, but he's been procrastinating. He'll put in a T shirt, mesh shorts, extra nicer shirt, flipflops, toiletries, pillow, towel, snacks.

  • Didn't sleep well at all as yesterday. Hopefully tonight will be better.

Nothing new, just beginning to realize though that I think I need to start putting on some weight as I'm not gaining much.  That's much easier said than done though when I don't have the opportunity to get up and really cook or even to go anywhere to get anything I'm hungry for.

Appointment tomorrow for glucose test and weekly cervix check.

Bag not packed but everytime I head to dr. I do take pjs, underware, comfy clothes, and iPad and I've been leaving main toiletries on bathroom counter so dh can grab them for me if needed.
