funny interactions

I thought this would be a fun discussion since we have such varying ages in kids.

Whats one of the funniest interactions you have with your kid? For me its diaper changes. Ds rolles over mid diaper change. Ill look athim call him sir, then he gives me this big ol cheesy grin that absorbs his whole face and starts laughing. Its like he knows hes adorable

  • Omg! Your daughter is awesome! She sounds like a total charecter who would get along with my 3 almost four year old nephew.

He tells everyone his uncle is iron man because my boyfriend is tony s and last time he saw bf he was wearing a tshirt with the arc reactor on it.

A couple nights ago bf called me, and dn got soooo upset my ringtone for bf isnt iron man music. So i let him pick out an iron man ring tone for bfs ringtone.

  • Gosh.  Aria is still pretty young but she does the same thing at diaper changes. If I don't put something in her chubby little paws to distract her she's all over the damn place.  She's also defiant already.  Normally when I tell her no she will pull her hand back and look at me with this big cheezy grin or the serious looking "are you kidding??" face, then stretch that little hand right back to where it wasn't supposed to be.  She's going to be a handful.
  • Aria is gonna be a little spit fire!

  • She is!  It concerns me though that she has never really laughed.  She smiles and makes happy sounds and all that, but never just laughed.  She studies things very intently and tends to be a little more serious, I think.  Still bugs me.
  • Im sure shell start laughing. Has your pedi said anything about it

  • Oh my god, Harley sometimes starts to laugh and then just goes back to smiling!! Drives me nuts! Just laugh, little girl!! It's great to laugh!

  • DS thinks I'm hilarious, so most of our funny interactions are him cracking up at whatever stupid junk I'm doing. It's also pretty cute when he tries to race me to the open baby gate, giggling all the way.

  • Oh man there are so many with DD1 (7) I think the latest thing is since DD2 turned one in January she has decided it's an insult to her sister to refer to DD2 as a baby. She strictly calls her a toddler and the other morning I tell DD2 "who's the prettiest baby" or something like that and the rest of the morning until she left for school DD1 lectured me about calling DD2 a baby and not a toddler and kept apologizing to DD2 for momma being mean and calling her a baby when they both knew she was a toddler and not a baby anymore.

Oh there was also this afternoon when I babysat one of her friends from cheerleading and DD1 and her friend did every cheer they know several times. Then the friend says that her little sister who is 3 knows all of their cheers. Right then DD2 wobbles by them gibbering to herself and DD1 and friend spent at least a half hour debating if they could teach DD2 all their cheers now or if she was a little to young and they needed to want until she was older. They finally decided since they didn't have any cheers that say Momma or Hi (only words DD2 knows) and they didn't have the time to make up any cheers with only those two words, DD2 was just going to have to wait until she knew more words to learn their cheers no matter how much DD2 wanted to learn them now.

DD2 will crack me up, we have a couch and loveseat that an pushed together to form what looks like an L. DD2 will run from one to the other as fast as she can and throw herself against the cushions. Over and over and the longer she does it the more she starts laughing and it causes me to laugh.
  • I have another, i was just smothering bentley with kisses making him laugh and giggle when he started leaning in and putting him lips on my cheek haha hes awesome

  • I don't know!  I avoided kids like the plague before I had my own.
  • My most recent one was this morning when DD told me she forgot how to use a spoon. I was like...WTF kid? Really? So I showed her how and she's like..."Well that doesn't make my hand feel good!"

If I weren't sick as a dog that would have probably been a lot funnier...
