1st Trimester

Soooo sick!!

Anyone else this sick? Im 7 weeks today and I've had constant nausea since I found out. It either stays the same or gets worse. My diet consists of water, nuts, yogurt, pretzels, crackers and fruit. I'm so weak and exahsted. I can't even wash dishes because of the smell anymore. I feel useless and helpless!

  • I'm in the same situation as you almost 7 weeks and constantly nauseaus morning till night! It's so frustrating!! I read somewhere about getting those sea sick bracelets I don't know if they work but anythings worth a shot.. Only thing getting me through is thinking how in a couple months the nausea should pass!! So hard:(
  • I actually ordered the sea band on amazon. Should get it next week. I also ordered Preggie Pop Drops. Hopefully something will help! Now I have a cold, I seriously can't catch a break.
  • I am 7w1d and have felt the same since I found out. I've only thrown up once though. I try to suck on hard candies and eat a frequent snacks to combat it. Some days all I can do is suck on lifesavers and sip water. The beginning of this week was the worst. Now I feel a little better but the exhaustion is kicking in!

  • My first three pregnancies were that way.  I puked more than I had ever in my life.  I got a prescription for zofran and that helped some.  Maybe call and see if you can get a prescription for that?  Also, I would eat lemon drops or I would just bite slices of fresh lemon.  The acid in it neutralized my stomach.  Salt & vinegar chips had the same effect too.

  • I was in the same position -- suck but didn't have an appointment for a couple weeks. I called the doc and they fit me in for a quick appointment and I got an rx for Zofran . Helps a ton !!

  • i was the same way...different symptoms kept developing. i was soooo sick of soup. keep hydrated, interchange water, gatorade, juice, etc.try to get fruits and veggies when you can. im sorry to say but it will develop into other things....but bnatal drops help for nausea too.
  • Take Vitamin B6, Ginger Root, and Unisom (before bed of course). I've taken unisom the past two nights and I've had the least amount of nausea this week than I've had in three weeks (I'm seven weeks tomorrow).
  • I just got acupressure/nausea wristbands from the pharmacy. they seem to work. Ginger candy does too. not long term but better than nothing
