My baby broke out with rash on her face, neck, arms, chest and back. The doctor said the rash on her face was actually fungus which he said is hard to pinpoint where it came from because fungus is everywhere and that the rest of her rash was heat rash. He told me to be sure I didn't use dryer sheets which I was then immediately stopped. I was bathing baby with Burt's bees soap and now only use it to wash her hair. The doctor prescribed anti fungal cream for her face and lotion for the rest of her body. Her face started clearing up in a couple days but her neck looked like it was getting worse. I used to be so gentle on my girl but the rash looked like it was sore so I deliberately forced myself to clean under her neck better by wiping it clean, letting her sit without clothes on to let her neck dry and started applying the fungal cream which started to work. It dries out the rash and is almost gone now, a week later. I breastfeed too so after feedings I wipe my girl's face with a wet cloth and pat it dry with a clean cloth. Any other tips that anyone can suggest for future reference? My sister in law said to put powder but I'm hesitant.
