1. I finally had my glucose test this morning and really hope I passed.
2. I had to drop off my dog for a teeth cleaning this morning.
3. I am nervous because they have to put him under for it and I cried on the way there, at the vet's office, and on the way back to work after dropping him off.
4. The lady at the vet's office was nice and I blamed it on the hormones.
5. I immediately ate some chocolate after my glucose test was done.
6. We close on our house on Friday!
7. This month has been like a $1000 vet month, which I wasn't expecting. Nothing else better come up!
8. We have our next baby class next week and I am excited. I enjoyed the last one.
9. I love the Walking Dead and have been happy with the second half of this season so far!
10. The bedding I want is on backorder until Apr 10 :-/ Now I don't know if I should order it or find something else.
Re: Ten Things Tuesday
2. DS is playing by himself and not trying to climb on me. This is a miracle.
3. I should probably take DS outside to pay today since its nice out and who knows how much longer it'll stay this way.
4. My sister finds out where she will spend the next 18 months of her life this week, andI'm super excited for her.
5. My other sister and her husband are really irritating me with their selfishness.
6. Only 3 more Wednesdays that DH has class at night. I might be really excited.
7. I want a nap.
8. I feel like a pig with as much as I eat lately.
9. I'm so freaked out about gaining a ton of weight, but I can't.stop.eating.
10. A Wendy's frosty sounds really good right now...

2. I started feeling crumy last night night and now it is apparent I am coming down with yet another cold.
3. This would not be a huge deal except for the fact that I have been non-stop sick. My 2014 has consisted of a cold, a stomach virus, another really bad cold that lasted 2 weeks, a kidney infection, and now another cold that has attacked me before I am even off of my antibiotics from the kidney infection.
4. On top of this, I have two depos tomorrow, so I will be sneezing and snotting throughout the depos. Sexy.
5. I could not find any pants to wear this morning. I ended up wearing jeans instead of slacks which isn't my typical office attire.
6. I am pretty much the only person in my house who ever does laundry despite having a maid. When my DH does occasionally do laundry, he somehow manages to only wash his own stuff even if I ask him to wash mine. I wash his clothes all the freaking time. It really annoys me.
7. In the grand scheme of things, I know I have a really great DH, but he is annoying me so bad right now. He gave me this spill last night about how he has been feeling so stressed and even depressed and really "alone." He even had the nerve to say something to the effect that I never want to hear about his job/business when he tries to talk about it--as an aside it is pretty much all he talks about. I tried to be sensitive to his feelings, but I really want to throat punch him. I'm f'in 6.5 months pregnant, I work in a high-stress job, I've been sick non-stop for the past 2+ months, our 17 month old has been sick non-stop for the past 5 months, and I have almost no support system outside of occasionally having my Mother...what more do you want from me??? I don't have time to feel "alone." All I ever feel is sick and exhausted. Plus, I do support him and his business--frequently to the detriment of my own health and career.
8. My in-laws. Ugh. My in-laws have treated me really crappy in the past--especially my FIL--and even created some serious problems in my relationship with my DH. It seemed to get better after DS was born, but now I feel like they are back to their old habits again.
9. Why is it so damn hard to find decent childcare? Before I had a child, I never dreamed this would be the hardest thing about being a "working mom," but sure enough it is.
10. I am repeatedly shocked at people's lack of professionalism when applying for a job. Not showing up to interviews after scheduling them. Being a diva about what time your interview is scheduled. Replying to a job posting with not just poor grammar, but NO punctuation in your email whatsoever. What is up with that?

May 2014 January Siggy Challenge:
3. My coughing has gotten so bad that I think I strained a muscle. Oh, and 1/2 the dose of Robatussin doesn't do shit - 4 tsp is the way to go!
4. Got an amazing 3D pic of baby at my u/s yesterday!
5. We close on the sale of our condo on Friday. Fingers crossed about not owning 2 homes anymore.
6. MH is really burning out on his job search. Just wish he could find something, so we could do some planning!
7. If winter is going to be like this from now on, I want out! I want to move again, but this time someplace warmer. (Although it is in the 40's today!)
8. Heading to my 1st chiropractor appt this afternoon.
9. I'm on the fence about taking HypnoBirthing classes. I think it would help during labor, but I also think some of it is total hooey.
10. This weekend we met with an amazing woman who I think will be our doula! Plus she is in training, so it is FREE!!! AND and and, she knows all about spinningbabies stuff! Super excited about this!
1. I want double stuff Oreo's. Real bad.
2. Went on a lunchtime walk today, and my ears are finally thawing out from the cold wind.
3. Seems that belly gives me added momentum when moving uphill, but makes walking downhill a little more difficult and slow going.
4. Rolaids saved me yesterday afternoon. This heartburn has been bonkers.
5. The girls decided to have a 3 a.m. dance party in my uterus last night...errr this morning. They used to be active at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Those days have passed apparently.
6. I am worried about my glucose test (next monday).
7. I am not so worried that I won't eat up some delicious double stuff oreo's tonight.
8. I have officially switched to my hips for lovenox shots. Belly is too hard and full of babies for me to feel ok about belly injections these days.
9. Oreo's have helped make my hips a good place for shots
10. I have a coupon for a $1 pastry at Starbucks. Do I stay or do I go???
2. Started washing baby clothes this week.
3. I did 3! Loads of 0-3 mo.
4. The nursery is almost finished.
5. I had coldstone last night and it was Delicious.
6. My 3 yo really needs to have pre-school tomorrow (stupid snow days).
7. We're going to a J. Geils party this weekend.
8. If someone nominates me to be DD (rather than Asking me to do so), I may punch them.
9. I'm ready for second lunch. Or first dinner.
10. I kind of want a cheeseburger.
2) It was blizzarding at 7am and by noon, was 45 and sunny...because WTF, winter?
3) Started talking about leave with my boss today and it made me so happy and scared at the same time.
4) I love feeling LO with my hands and trying to discern if that's a knee, or a foot, or a butt...he's probably like "lay off me, Ma!"
5) I found out today is national wine day. Wah-waahhhh.
6) I am switching to DH's health insurance and not a moment too soon because mine SUCKS.
7) My office building is no less than 700 degrees, and my boss' office is even hotter. I felt like a mess during my one-on-one meeting this afternoon...I could tell that my face was visibly flushed and shiny.
8) We really need to sign up for our birthing classes.
9) That is to say...I hope our baby is less of a procrastinator than his mom and dad.
10) Every time I'm able to sleep for a 2 hour stretch without having to pee is a victory.
Mommy to my sweet boy, JG, born May 15, 2014
Baby #2 due 4/26/16!
1 - My mom left on a month long vacation to visit my sister! Yay!
2 - We just bought two cars! Can't wait to get rid of them... asap!
3 - Tax season is going great! Appt after appt after appt!
4 - My doctor thinks I have kidney stones - please go away
5 - My coworker is back from her maternity leave! She can take her work load back! Woohoo!
6 - My brother told me that he would buy me the stroller I want... but now he keeps post poning the purchase and I'm worried that I'll end up not having it before our trip in June/July.
7 - I got freaked out at by a customer because I asked to see his ID and he told me that he wont let me see it.
8 - I have the world's sexiest husband.
9 - I really wish people would practice brushing their teeth.
10 - My glucose test is next Wednesday - I am really worried about it now that a lot of ladies have failed it.
That One Gal From Alaska
2. I have a prescription somewhere at home for the TDap booster.
3. I've been torn between forgetting I have to do that and really, really lazily wondering when that's supposed to happen. Forgetting was winning. Hopefully neither DH nor I has inadvertently thrown the thing out.
4. Speaking of forgetting, guess who just realized today that her glucose test is scheduled for this Thursday.
5. Bob Shea writes really entertaining picture books. I just wish I understood the last page of something like Cheetah Can't Lose.
6. My name is [not, actually] Janet, and I'm an Outlander-aholic. It has been about two and a half hours since I last listened to Davina Porter's excellent narration of the second Outlander book, and in about an hour and a half I'll be totally indulging again.
7. Considering how totally into the series I've been lately, it's probably really good for the upkeep of my household that someone else has the next one checked out and it's not due back until mid-March.
8. In actual reality, it just means I'll be listening to the next installment of a Lemony Snicket series and the In Death series while I wait.
9. My Outlander issue is really more of a reading-in-general issue. I hate it when I'm between books and can't decide what to read next.
10. Jamie Fraser sometimes reminds me a lot of Emerson from the Amelia Peabody books. Both of them are really muscular and generally larger-than-life. It's not a deep similarity, because Emerson is much more a deliberately comic figure, which is fitting because the Amelia Peabody series is a cozy murder mystery series with a strong vein of humor and occasional forays into dramatic emotional scenes. Still, when she's going on and on about how huge Jamie is, and he does some new Feat of Strength, all I can think of is Emerson's shirt exploding when he threw a spear right through some hapless bad guy.
2) I also ordered the 40 piece nugget deal they have going on. I've eaten 3/4 of it thus far. I'm kinda impressed with myself.
3) We had another 4D today (first one didn't yield many photos of baby girl's face- she had her hands covering it most of the time) and she is gorgeous. I'm so in love it's ridiculous.
4) I think Shameless started back up. I've seriously been ready for this season to start since forever ago.
5) I saw a chiropractor yesterday and it was amazing. I feel like I could do cartwheels and stuff- though, realistically, I still probably can't.
6) Our changing table/dresser came in yesterday and my cat has hidden the screws that came with it. I'm not very happy with her right now.
7) Someone asked me boy or girl today and I told them I wasn't pregnant and pretended to be offended. When their face paled, I let them know I was messing with them and LO is a girl.
8) My friend's 1 year old finds my belly fascinating. At lunch yesterday, she refused to sit near her mom and planted herself right next to me. She kept asking me if the baby was ready to come out and play with her yet. I love that kid.
9) I'm in need of some puppy cuddling but he's going through a phase where only the cat is cool to hang with right now.
10) I cried over a car commercial today- the one where the dad has his daughter change out the tire. Full on, ugly crying.
I actually made it to 10 today, hooray!
2. I am absolutely freaking out about labor and delivery. I've heard it kind of hurts.
3. We got confirmation today that we are able to close on selling our first home next Friday, such a huge blessing!
4. I want nothing more than to get a massage and/or go to the chiropractor very soon. I can't crack my back or get rid of the back pain to save my life.
5. DH and I have a list of like 8 movies that are coming out in the next month or two that we want to see before our little man gets here. Going to the movie theater that many times will probably cumulatively be our babymoon.
6. Ohio's weather is a joke. 365 days out of the year. This winter has been exceptionally awful.
7. I miss being able to successfully paint my toenails. And put boots on without turning into a contortionist.
8. I wish it was socially acceptable to smack people who make unwanted comments to you while you're pregnant. Family absolutely included.
9. I cannot stop eating. Oreo's, Apple Jacks, cupcakes, Sour Punch Straws, cheese, pasta, and all chocolate. I try to eat healthy but this child wants ALL the sugar. I was stunned I passed my glucose tolerance test.
10. I've been pre-nesting like crazy. I'm trying so hard to get everything in its place and removing all unnecessary items from the house.
