Mine is today at 2:30! Then DH and I are going out for dinner (our "Valentine's Day" since my mom will be here to watch DS for the appt), and we'll open the envelope that says boy or girl. We did this with DS too and it was fun and more intimate. I hope baby cooperates and shows the goods so I can come back this evening and report the sex!

I have mine at 3 this afternoon. I would've liked to go with the 9 am option but now my DD can go. Out of everyone, she's the most excited to find out.

Mine is in an hour. I'm feeling anxious since this is when our trouble with DD's incorrect clubfoot diagnosis started. Praying everything looks normal! And looking forward to confirming that it is in fact a girl.

So we were told 95% girl at 12 wks and come to find out by the exact same tech there is definite boy plumbing in there! I made sure to tell her she was incorrect the first time, since when I told her she might be incorrect at 12 wks she told me to come back in 6 wks and she'll prove she was right. Ha!

Baby is super healthy. Overall I'm fully relieved to have a good a/s and not have to learn everything brand new for a girl since we have 2 DSs already. Other than disappointing the whole freaking world who seems to think they know better than God on what I should have since they all think I should have a girl, I am thrilled!! And would've been either way!!

As far as EVERY single person who has said they hope it's a girl - seriously don't think I've had one person who said hope it's a boy, I've even had people tell me it has to be a girl, I'm thinking of letting my answer back to them be "A healthy, kicking and alive baby!" Especially since I've been freaked out the last few days not feeling as much movement and thinking something was seriously wrong! Turns out my placenta is in the front so there's only two spots I can feel movement anymore, the only places I've been feeling them when I finally did feel some movement yesterday, so that was relieving to hear.

Fingers crossed for happy and healthy baby scans for the rest of you today!!

ETA: Clarity! Done a lot of processing today on how grateful I am to have an alive and healthy baby and how upset I am about people who only care about LO being a girl or boy - really only girl in this case - so my original post read more like a train of thought. To be honest a girl would've been exciting and different, but a boy will complete my army of men and is exciting and comforting. That's all my opinion is, nothing more and nothing less. I'm pretty pissed that I am even thinking people will be blanking disappointed when I finally do tell them the news.

Was it an incorrect diagnosis with your DD in a good way? Crossing fingers that's so! Either way can't imagine the anxiety with a diagnosis like that, though. Praying for a normal a/s and healthy baby for you today!

Got a mini scan today since my ob couldn't get heart beats on the Doppler. Turns out they are now laying feet to feet across my tummy and were so busy kicking each other that there was too much movement

I fear for when they come out

Oh and cant wait for my a/s next week!

It's a boy! He kept covering his face with his forearms, it was adorable. And I was totally mesmerized watching his heartbeat. Can't wait to meet Theodore "Theo" Anthony.

We were told she had club foot and she actually did not. It was terrible spending the rest of the pregnancy thinking that was wrong and wondering what else might be since they told us club foot often happens with other birth defects. Luckily DD had no issues at birth, but no one would even confirm that until we saw the specialist when she was 2 weeks old!

Today though we found out we're having a girl and everything looks healthy!! It was so nice to hear that everything is fine. I think I made the doctor repeat it 3 times.

Aw, so happy for you on both counts! Can't imagine the stress with the incorrect diagnosis and sorry you had to go through that, but glad it was incorrect!

Had mines today healthy baby boy.

He was moving so much and positioned in a way that the tech couldn't get all the shots she wanted..so they are going to do another u/s at my next appointment. But she said everything looked great.

I had mine today, too! It's a healthy baby boy! Everything looks great with him. I have a placenta previa so I have to get checked again in 6 wks, but I'm hoping/assuming it's NBD. Have had zero bleeding thus far so I doubt I will.

Super excited to have 2 brothers! I will admit, all this time DS has been saying he wants a sister and he thinks it's a girl, so...I've struggled some today with the thought of NOT having a girl (we're not planning on a 3rd). Just to be clear, I'm not upset or disappointed that it's a boy, just...sad that it's not a girl, if that makes sense.

Anyway, no idea what his name is going to be. We had a hard enough time naming the first one, and he's named after his dad!

Congrats to everyone on healthy babies! Anyone mind if I share an early HDBD photo b/c I'm so excited! Plus it's adorable b/c DS is kissing his baby brother!
