We were sorting valentine's m and m's this weekend. We don't have much counter space, but the kids each wanted their own set up. Which I figured was good because they both got practice (colors, sorting, fine motor, counting). Was going well. Until it wasn't. DS somehow knocked his (thankfully, plastic) measuring cup with almost 2 cups of m n m's over the corner of the counter and m and m"s flew everywhere. It was raining red, pinks. And white candy. So instead of yummy pretzel treats, we got to pick up and trash them. At least we worked on picking up our mess?
You have not seen my floor. They fell right in front of the sliding door where the dogs have been trapsing there touch-the-ground bellies and icky paws in and out in all this weather. I picked them up, tried to wipe a few off, decided I was being hoarderish and gave up. That many m and m's exceeded any 60 second rule I could justify.
I forgot about THOSE goldfish! I've been dairy free for too long...
